A True Native Son
Tim has lived his life in the 12th District. He was educated in the Greater Johnstown School District.
Growing up in the Hornerstown section of Johnstown, he played Little League and later, Pony League baseball, for By George Inn. He also participated in the Greater Johnstown Track Club.
Tim graduated from Johnstown High School in 1986.
He was a member of the JHS Marching Band, numerous County and District Bands and the WJAC Allegheny Heartland Band.
As a teenager he delivered the Sunday edition of the Tribune Democrat.
Throughout his High School and College years Tim worked part time jobs at Surf & Turf Inn, Sani-Dairy, Photo Art Shoppe, System House and in his parent's photography studio, Ed Burns Photography.
Tim earned a Bachelor's Degree in computer science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1990.
He now resides in Eighty Four, Pa.
