From My Family to Yours

I would like to thank everyone that supported my campaign. Although we didn't succeed in PA 12, the conservative movement won. And all of you that supported me can feel proud that you played a part in its success.

You see, even though we didn't win here, this Congressional race was a true battleground race for the first time in 38 years. Because of that, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the unions, and many other groups had to spend millions of dollars smearing me and defending this seat. If you all hadn't supported me and made this a real race, the millions that were spent against me would have been used against someone else who was victorious.

So, please hold your head up high and feel proud that you were part of the new conservative movement that began this yeart. And please stay involved. We cannot be lulled back to sleep. Now that we have elected conservatives, we must keep the pressure on them to ensure they STAY conservatives.

And then there's the 2012 presidential election. It is imperative that we make certain that Obama is a one-term president. We must use the energy you demonstrated in this race, to make sure the Republican Party selects a good conservative Presidential candidate and then we must work to get that candidate elected!

Thank you again for all of your support. This has been a wild ride. I've made some great friends, learned a lot, and was part of an amazing campaign. And I couldn't have done it without you. Remember to stay involved and keep in touch.
